RIM Says BlackBerry Email Delays Continue Worldwide

BlackBerry email service delays continue globally Wednesday afternoon. BlackBerry Instant messaging and Web browsing were still down for many regions of the world after three days. BlackBerry Messenger infrastructure was put back online in other regions, but capacity being added to handle higher levels of traffic. CTO David Yach, CTO for software for RIM, said there’s no evidence of hacking or a security breach. Yach had no answer on whether RIM would compensate customers for the outages. RIM has posted service updates on its Web site that are far less specific.”]
