Researchers Find Severe, Currently Unpatched Tenda Powerline Extender Vulnerabilities

Security researchers found vulnerabilities in the Tenda PA6 Wi-Fi Powerline extender. Vulnerabilities include remote code execution, buffer overflow and vulnerability to DDoS attacks. The company that makes it hasn’t responded to messages, and its unclear whether they are working on a patch or a new firmware. Users should immediately change the default password of the device, which is exposed directly to the Internet, which unfortunately is not always the case, as it is only protected with a weak, default password.”]
