Researchers clash over possible return of Google attackers

Symantec: PDF-based attacks that exploit a bug in Adobe Reader are the work of the group that hacked Google and dozens of other major corporations late last year. Researchers say they’ve found signs of attack e-mails going back to at least Sept. 1. Adobe says it will patch the problem early next month; Adobe says the problem will be fixed next month. The wording of the Leadbetter attacks is “very similar” to the phrasing used in the January 2010 attacks against Google and others in January 2010.”]
