A security researcher noticed a security snafu involving a McAfee security feature. The security feature is designed to scan and block malicious links sent via email. McAfee says it has investigated the alert and found “the ClickProtect feature operated as designed” McAfee: “The concerns raised arose out of the timing of ClickProtect’s reputation-based detection and response” A Salesforce.com administrator said he saw a similar problem with McAfee’s ClickProtect in a similar way several years ago.”]
