Report: Dyre Crackdown in Moscow

Russian authorities reportedly cracked down on cybercrime gang responsible for Dyre banking malware. Russian authorities raided offices of production company 25th Floor in November, report says. Reports: Dyre attacks have indeed ceased since the raid, Reuters reports. The disruption of the malware itself may be temporary, since “we also know that the source code of Dyre is out in the wild” and thus could be adopted by other groups. The malware first appeared in June 2014, when it was tied to attacks that compromised online banking credentials for customers of JPMorgan Chase.”]
