Reitinger quits DHS cybersecurity post

Deputy Undersecretary Philip Reitinger is set to leave the Department of Homeland Security June 3. His departure follows a busy cybersecurity week for The Obama Administration. The White House unveiled a major cybersecurity proposal late last week. Rep. Joseph Lieberman credits Reitner for building DHS’s cyber capabilities and developing an excellent leadership team. The department has made tremendous strides in its cyber capabilities over the past few years, he says. “Phil’s energy and expertise will be missed,” says Lieberman, ID-Conn.”]
