Received an unexpected request to confirm your Twitter account? Dont panic

Twitter has admitted that an accidental email blast asking users to confirm their Twitter account was sent by mistake. The emails were sent by accident and Twitter has apologised for the error. Twitter has not commented on how many users have been left scratching their heads or warning others not to click on the links. It’s unclear how many Twitter users may have received the accidential messages, but there are certainly plenty of folks who seem to have been warned not to take a look at what went wrong, and put some measures in place to ensure that such a goof doesnt happen again.”]
