Prison Rehabilitative Industries and Diversified Enterprises Inc (PRIDE) was hit by a ransomware attack on Saturday, December 7. The nonprofit organization’s website and affected systems are still down. PRIDE is an NPO from Florida that’s helping inmates to learn vocational skills and to get certifications for easier reintegration once they get released. The organization is self-funding itself by selling services and products made by inmates it gets from the Florida Department of Corrections that enroll in its training programs.
