Pwn2Own competition pops Flash, Reader and four browsers, pays out over $550K [POLL]

Pwn2Own has become something of an institution on the North American computer security conference circuit. The competition is a sort of Software Security Superbowl, where touchdowns are scored by sitting down behind a laptop screen and publicly pwning the computer, armed only with a browser. In this year’s competition, 11 attacks shown above, of which were successful and four were successful, resulted in the following count of vulnerabilities to be fixed: Adobe Flash, Microsoft IE, Adobe Flash and Windows itself.”]
