Privacy group: Google sharing too much personal info with developers

Consumer Watchdog: Google Wallet sharing info with app developers violates FTC privacy agreement. The FTC and California Attorney General should investigate Google Wallet, group says. Google Wallet is “fully compliant with the law and our consent decree,” Google says. A Google spokeswoman says the sharing of customer information in Wallet is consistent with the company’s privacy policies. FTC has not protected consumers “adequately,” Privacy Watchdog’s John Simpson says in a letter to the FTC on Google Wallet.
