Arizona resident George L. Curran, 42, has surrendered, CNN reports. He allegedly held up to nine people hostage in a downtown Phoenix high-rise on Thursday. Curran allegedly entered a National Labor Relations Board office building around 5:30 EST and dragged a secretary into a hearing room where a hearing was underway. Because the building is on federal property, the Federal Bureau of Investigation was involved, the building was evacuated and the area cordoned off.
