Penn. School District Hit with New Mac Spying Lawsuit

Joshua Levin sues Lower Merion School District of Ardmore, Pa. for allegedly spying on him and his family. District says lawsuit is “a complete waste of the taxpayer’s dollars” District acknowledges it had activated cameras on laptops to track lost or stolen laptops, but denied it was using them to spy on students. School district used more than 8,000 photos and screenshots between September 2008 and March 2009, lawsuit says. District tried to resolve dispute with Levin without going to court. “The District has repeatedly attempted to be fair and reasonable in this matter,” district says.”]
