Indiana Vice President Mike Pence used personal AOL account to communicate with top advisers. Indiana law does not ban public officials from using personal email accounts. A hacker hacked Pence’s AOL account in June last year and sent a fake email to people on the former governors contact list claiming that Pence and his wife had been attacked on their way back to their hotel in the Philippines.
