PayPal’s CISO Warns Against Using Apple’s Safari

PayPal recommends using Internet Explorer 7 or 8 when it comes out, or Firefox 2 or Firefox 3, or Opera. Safari has no built-in phishing filter to warn users when they are visiting suspicious Web sites. Safari’s lack of support for anti-phishing technology, Extended Validation (EV) certificates, is also a problem. IE 7 users are more likely to sign on to PayPals Web site than users who dont have EV certificates, PayPal says.”]
