One Billion Users Affected by Java Security Sandbox Bypass Vulnerability, Experts Say

Researchers from Security Explorations are experts when it comes to finding critical vulnerabilities in Java. They claim to have identified another flaw that affects all Oracle Java SE versions and the nearly one billion desktop computers on which the software is currently installed. The bug, codenamed issue 50, has been identified just before the start of Oracles JavaOne 2012 conference that will take place in San Francisco. The affected web browsers are Safari 5.1.7, Opera 12.02, Chrome 21.0.1180.89, Firefox 15.0.”]
