Malicious software disguised as legitimate apps for Android smartphones and tablets has seized control of more than one million Google accounts since August. Gooligan, part of the Ghost Push malware family, targets devices running Android 4 (Jelly Bean, KitKat) and 5 (Lollipop), which together represent nearly 74 percent of Android devices now in use. The number continues to rise at an additional 13,000 breached devices each day.”]
