Olympic Computers Threatened by Would-Be Hacker

Italian police are investigating a man who threatened to attack the Turin Olympics organizing committee’s computer network. The man illegally accessed restricted areas of the committees network, police officer Fabiola Silvestri said. “Nothing has happened and all the passwords have been disabled,” a TOROC spokesperson said. No charges have been filed as of yet, the Torin Olympic committee said. The suspect was a technical consultant for the TOROC committee, a Torin police officer told the AP.”]
