Ohio Skimming Scam Nets $50K

An ATM skimming gang hit a Norwood, Ohio bank and stole $50,000 from more than 120 customer accounts. Police say they are looking for four men who used a skimming device to steal customers’ ATM card information from a US Bank ATM. The most recent attack hit a Wachovia branch in Virginia last week. At least one of the suspects was also seen on tape placing a skimmer on an ATM in Wisconsin. Security experts advise customers to inspect ATMs for signs of tampering.”]
