The script used by Best of the Web to display its trust seal on customers’ websites got hacked. The supply-chain security breach saw the seal compromised by two keystroke loggers. Security expert Thomas Reed: “I wish they would all simply go away, and quit giving people false security” The security breach was discovered by researcher Willem de Groot, who discovered the breach in a blog post published by Bleeping Computer. The company is now conducting a security audit of its hosted accounts to ensure that this does not happen again.”]
