Obamacare Website Security Questioned

The House Energy and Commerce Committee held a hearing to question vendors on technical issues with the Obamacare website. The vendors testified that the individual system components or services that they each provided were tested in the months and weeks leading up to the Oct. 1 rollout. But the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services conducted end-to-end testing of the integrated system only days before the launch, they said. Some Republicans questioned whether the website and the systems that support it had been adequately tested for security and whether they pose a threat to consumer privacy.”]
