National Security Agency releases free, public version of software reverse engineering tool Ghidra. The toolkit was developed internally by the NSA’s Research Directorate. The agency will also release the source code, allowing users to improve the framework’s features. The tools are available for Mac OS, Windows, Linux, MacOS, and Linux, and a GitHub repository is also present. Security researchers have been expecting the release of the toolkit with excitement, especially since people familiar with it compared it to professional software like IDA Pro.
