NSA hacked into servers at Huawei headquarters, reports say

The New York Times and Der Spiegel report say the U.S. National Security Agency hacked into Huawei’s servers. The operation was to try to establish links between Huawei and the PLA, the Times report says. The NSA declines to comment on specific, alleged foreign intelligence activities. The latest reports are part of a long-running cyberespionage saga involving Chinese companies and government agencies. The report does not specify how successful this was, since technical details of the operation were withheld from publication at the request of the government.”]
