North Korean Hackers Swindles over $1 billion

North Korean hackers have swindled over $1.1 billion in particularly aggressive attacks on global banks, a new report from a cybersecurity watchdog says. The report says a group called APT38 has conducted operations against 16 organizations in at least 11 countries. North Korea could also use its cyber capabilities to attack the US economy, warns FDDs Samantha Ravich, senior adviser and Principal Investigator of cyber-enabled economic warfare (CEEW) project. The group has a large, prolific operation with extensive resources, says Ravich.”]
