No Charges as Grand Jury Probes Palin Hack

University of Tennessee student David Kernell is being investigated as a suspect, local press reports. U.S. Department of Justice spokeswoman says no charges have been filed in the case. Bloggers linked Kernell to online hacker “rubico,” used by hacker who claimed to have accessed Palin’s Yahoo account last week. The hacker guessed correctly that Palin had met her husband at Wasilla High School in Wasilla, Alaska, where she is the governor of Alaska.
