21-year-old Ryan S. Hernandez pleaded guilty to hacking into several Nintendo servers, stealing confidential info on hardware, games, and developer tools, and leaking it via social media and online portals. Hernandez, also known as Ryan West and RyanRocks, is facing a total of 5 years in prison and a statutory maximum of 20 years for child porn possession. As part of his plea agreement, Hernandez has to pay $259,323.82 to Nintendo as restitution as remediation costs for infiltrating the company’s network.
