Muggers used Pokemon Go to lure victims, police say

Police in O’Fallon, Missouri, believe muggers may have tracked or lured victims through Pokemon Go. The game lets players follow directions to real-world locations to “catch” Pokemon characters. Police say the four suspects were involved in multiple armed robberies in the same area. Some copies of the game downloaded elsewhere could contain malware, police say. Three were charged with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action; the fourth has been transferred to a nearby juvenile justice center. The popular mobile game was launched last week in the Google Play Store.”]
