More fake antivirus programs found in Google Play, Windows Phone Store

Fake antivirus apps have been found in both Android and Windows Phone app stores. Researchers from Kaspersky Lab found a fake antivirus app called “Kaspersky Mobile” in the Windows Phone Store. The fake app, which was available for 149 rubles or around US$4, used the company’s logo and other branding elements and pretended to scan files when run. Google offered refunds to users who bought the fake app from Google Play last month, but the scam seems to be catching on.”]
