Microsoft has acknowledged compliance with a Department of Justice subpoena for MSN search records. The DOJ sought a court order to make Google turn over its records. Microsoft did provide “some aggregated query logs that listed queries and how often they occurred,” in plain English, it provided a list of common keywords and their frequency of use.
