Microsoft To Disable VBScript by Default on August 13th

On August 13th, Microsoft will disable VBScript by default in Internet Explorer for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1. This is part of Microsoft’s initiative starting in 2017 of ultimately disabling the scripting language. This was being done to prevent the language from being abused to download malware or perform other unwanted behavior. The change will take effect in the upcoming cumulative updates for the upcoming ..technological..announcement..for Windows..7,..8, and..8.1 on August 13, 2019.
