Microsoft Tech Support Scams Invade Azure Cloud Services

MalwareHunterTeam and JayTHL have discovered close to 600 web sites hosted on the Azure App Services platform that display tech support scams. These sites are being hosted on azurewebsites.net using names like my-app-name-name.azure.net. The scam sites pretend to be an alert from Microsoft or Apple that states your computer is infected with spyware or a virus. These scams can stay active for 4-5 days before Microsoft shuts them down. Scammers are also utilizing Azure Blob Storage to store their scams.
