Microsoft’s Chromium-Based Edge Coming to Windows 10 ARM PCs

Microsoft launches Chromium-based Edge browser for Windows 10, with Windows 7, 8.1, mac, and Linux versions coming at a later date. Microsoft says Edge team is working with Google engineers to allow Chromium to run natively on Windows on ARM devices starting with Chromium 73. The arrival of Chrome-based browsers on ARM-based PCs will significantly improve the performance of the browsers and reduce heavy battery consumption. The new Edge browser comes with a revamped interface, a new set of features and major performance improvements.
