Microsoft rolls out new Edge to Windows 7 via Windows Update

Microsoft has started rolling out Microsoft Edge to all non-Enterprise Windows 7 users via Windows Update. The new browser will be pinned to the taskbar and add a shortcut to the desktop. Microsoft Edge will not replace Internet Explorer and will not change your default browser. The update is not being offered to enterprise devices and only to users running Windows 7 SP1 and Windows 8.1 Home, Professional, Ultimate, Starter, or Core editions. It is not available as a stand-alone download from Microsoft Update Catalog.
