Microsoft Office for Mac vulnerability fixed with new update

Microsoft has released an update for Office for Mac 2011 14.2.3 that resolves a security vulnerability with the program. The patch fixes part of Microsoft’s SkyDrive service, which the company is pitching as an alternative to Apple’s iCloud. Microsoft Office users can access the update by opening Microsoft AutoUpdate and clicking Check For Updates. It also provides detailed updates for Excel, Outlook and Word.
