Microsoft Edge for Linux was first announced at Build 2020 developer conference. It will allow IT pros to use mobile application management (MAM) and selectively manage individual work-related apps. IT admins can also manage browsing of users in their work profile. Microsoft Edge on Linux will be available to download on the Dev preview channel in October, Microsoft announced at the Ignite 2020 conference. The company has been busy adding new features to the browser to stand out from other Chromium rivals, such as Chrome and Brave.
