Mibbit is a web-based client for modern web browsers that supports Internet Relay Chat (IRC) Hackers accessed personal data of 9 operators including their names, accounts and e-mail addresses. The personal data included a backup of nickserv data from April 2011 with up to 10,000 user nicknames and their credentials and two sets of backup data for one operator user account PMs and Channel logs, used for testing are Leaked. Mibbits are working on securing and restoring the affected services.
