Meet Regin, Super Spyware That’s Been Attacking Computers for Years

Symantec published a report today detailing a sophisticated form of spyware known as Regin. Saudi Arabia and Russia are primary targets of the spyware, taking up more than half of all recorded cases. The malware is similar to the Stuxnet computer worm allegedly used to attack Iran’s nuclear centrifuges. No reported instances of Regin have been found in the U.S., but it’s impossible to say for sure as there’s much left to learn about how sophisticated it is.”]
