Forescout analyzed data from 3.3 million devices on hundreds of healthcare networks for its 2020 Connected Medical Device Security report. The majority of US hospitals reported falling victim to a significant security incident in the past two years. The report also showed a 40 percent decrease in devices operating on unsupported Windows versions, from 71 percent in 2019 to 32 percent this year.
