Massive ‘Logjam’ Flaw Discovered

A 20-year-old SSL flaw that could be exploited by an attacker could be used to read and modify any data passed over the connection. The flaw involves implementations of the Diffie-Hellman algorithm, which allows Internet protocols to agree on a shared key and negotiate a secure connection. Researchers warn that this flaw can be – and likely has been – exploited by “state-level adversaries,” such as the U.S. National Security Agency. A fix could soon make more than 20,000 websites unreachable.”]
