At least three broadcasters KBS, MBC and YTN and the Shinhan and Nonghyu banks reported that their computer networks had been crached. The state-run Korea Information Security Agency said that Screens went blank at 2 p.m. and more than seven hours later some systems were still down. South Korean President Park Geun Hye has put together a cyber security team to look into whether North Korea is the culprit behind today’s attacks. Loxley Pacific, the Thailand-based Internet service provider, confirmed the outage but did not say what caused it.
