Matthew Speare has been named Chief Information Security Officer at M&T Bank. Previously Speare was Director of IT Infrastructure and Security at Ohio Savings Bank. He has also held security-related positions at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Progressive Insurance. Speare holds the CISSP and CISM certifications. He is responsible for risk assessment and business continuity/disaster recovery planning in addition to information security.
