A serious bug in IBM’s Lotus Notes software could be used by attackers to run unauthorized software on a victims PC. The flaw lies in the Autonomy KeyView software used by Lotus Notes to process Lotus 1-2-3 files. Details of the flaw have not been published, and it has not been picked up by online criminals. IBM is offering a software patch for Notes 7 users; it has suggested several workarounds for older versions of Notes, including deleting the Windows DLL.”]
