Leaked Apple UDIDs were stolen from digital publishing firm

Hackers stole 1 million Apple iOS devices from Florida-based digital publishing firm Bluetoad. Hackers released a file containing 1 million unique device identifiers (UDIDs) on Sept. 3. The hackers claimed the data was part of a database of more than 12 million UDIDs that they stole from an FBI agent’s laptop. The FBI dismissed as false the claim that the laptop of one of its agents had been compromised. The company no longer accepts App Store submissions for apps that access UDIDs.”]
