Windows 7 started freezing after a component of Malwarebytes was upgraded to 1.0.508-508. Once users, disabled the component package, Windows 7 would not longer freeze. The only way that users could regain use of their computers again was to reset their computer by holding down the power button. Malwarebyte suspects that it may be a network adapter driver causing a conflict with the Web Protection feature. Users who are affected should downgrade to the previous version of the Malwareabyte component package.
