Lancaster 25,000 students and 2,500-plus employees personal info hacked!

25,000 students and 2,500-plus employees were targeted in March, officials say. Names, birthdates, Social Security numbers, addresses and phone numbers were compromised. The breach has been fixed, the school system’s superintendent says. “We are doing anything we can to prevent this from happening again,” Gene Moore says. “And we have put new measures in place to better assure that our computers are protected from such attempts,” he says. It’s not the first time the system has been breached, he adds.
