The US Department of Labor (DoL) has filed a lawsuit against Oracle America., Inc. The DoL accuses Oracle of engaging in two discriminatory employment practices. If the judge finds the DoL’s accusations true, Oracle could lose all federal contracts and will also be prohibited from applying for new ones. The agency says that since 2014, Oracle has failed to provide the necessary employment data and records the agency requested. The OFCCP says it made repeated requests for the needed data records for one year before issuing final warnings and eventually filing its lawsuit.
