But taking a photograph with a flash causes an instant power off. The problem is said to be caused by light from a high intensity flash or laser pointer hitting a circuit board. The boffins behind the Raspberry Pi have told users not to panic, as no permanent damage is reported to occur. One enterprising user used a strategically-positioned Blu-tac to make the problem worse.”]
