JPMorgan Chase’s Russian Hacker Pleads Guilty

Russian national Andrei Tyurin, 36, pleads guilty to perpetrating massive hack attacks against leading U.S. financial services firms. He stole details of more than 83 million customers of JPMorgan Chase, prosecutors say. Prosecutors accused the hacker of aiding a wide-ranging criminal enterprise run by Israeli businessman Geri Shalon. Shalon allegedly perpetrated securities market manipulation, payment processing fraud, illegal cryptocurrency exchanges as well as illegal online gambling. He is scheduled to be sentenced by Judge Swain on Feb. 13, 2020.”]
