JonDoFox protects user’s privacy by removing identifying information from the browser. Affected are Firefox, Chrome and Safari browsers. Third party sites may no longer receive HTTP authentication data from browser. JonDo Fox now fully compatible with the new Firefox 6.1 version of the extension for the Firefox web browser. It is an ideal add-on for anonymization services like JonDonym and Tor, but may also be used without an anonymization software, just for safer surfing. Users may therefore easily update to the new browser version.
