It Looks Like the San Francisco Muni Hack Was Worse Than We Thought

San Franciscos Municipal Railway was hacked by hackers demanding over $70,000 in bitcoins. A list of servers allegedly compromised by the hackers includes 2,212 servers. The list contains servers with cryptic names like BBYH382 and PAYROLLHPDC7600, as well as QUICKBOOKS The list could add more validity to the hackers demands for money. Muni was able to un-hack some of its systems by Sunday morning but hackers threatened to post 30 gigabytes of employee data.”]
