ISACA warns of potentially devastating corporate data leaks

Information Systems Audit and Control Association says the environment is ripe for potentially devastating corporate data leaks. The threat is due to the increasingly blurred line between personal and business use of devices such as smart phones and netbooks. ISACA is offering its whitepaper Data Leak Prevention, as a free download at www.isaca.org/dlp. The organisation suggests businesses first create data leak prevention policies before selecting and implementing the DLP technology. The group says DLP solutions also have certain limitations that are important to understand.”]
